The Bronze Star Medal with the letter "V" device for heroic achievement in connection with military operation against an armed enemy was awarded to Pfc. Norman C. Private Noah without hesitation or regard for his own personal safety, left the comparative shelter of his bunker to repair a broken radio antenna. Although he was exposed to the intense Communist Artillery and motor barrage which had disable the antenna. Private Noah calmly continued replacing the destroyed equipment, even after he was painfully wounded by an enemy round. As a result of Private Noah's courage and self-sacrificial act, tactically important "communication facilities were restored."
