Miller, Donald L. (25 APR 1916 - 17 AUG 1953)

Donald Lee Miller, 37, was born in the Town of Warner (Clark Co., Wis.) on April 25, 1916. He received his formal education in this community and was united in marriage to Anita D. Hohl on June 28, 1941, at the West Side Reformed Church. To this union were born two children, Sandra Lee, 9, and Bruce Donald, 4.

He and his family have resided at Christie for the past seven and one-half years, where he owned and operated a general merchandise store and feed mill.

Mr. Miller passed away at his home on Monday, Aug. 17, 1953 at 2:10 p.m. He has been ill since January.

He is survived by his wife, Anita, two children, Sandra and Bruce, a brother, Delbert A. Miller, Edgerton, Wis. and a sister, Mrs. Arleigh (Eva) Olson, Blanchardville, Wis. His father, George Miller, preceded him in death in January 1953.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20th at 2:10 p.m. at the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Charles Koch will officiate and he will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Arnold Johnson, Wallace Jacobi, Harold Ratsch, Clarence Ratsch, Benny Schwellenbach and Teddy Kuester.
