Dunn, Albert (2 MAR 1880 - 16 JUN 1952)

Albert Dunn was born of Nancy and James A. Dunn March 2, 1880 at Spokeville, Clark Co., Wis. Most of his active life was spent in Montana and Wisconsin. The last three years of active life found him in the shipyards at Portland, Oregon. For the past few years he has been afflicted with palsy and spent his last days at a rest home at Oak Forest, Ill., and finally passed away at Elgin, Ill. on June 16, 1952, reaching the age of 72 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Julius Ware, Wolf Point, Montana and Mrs. Tom Krema, Portland, Oregon; one daughter, Ruth, Mrs. Velton Styles, Chicago; four sons, Merrill of Greenwood, Russell of Curtiss, Howard in the Army Air Force, England; Kenneth, Army Air Force, Alaska; and sixteen grandchildren. His wife, Viola, his parents, four sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held and he was laid to rest at Elgin, Ill. on June 20, 1952.
