Resech, Esther A. (15 FEB 1920 - 10 DEC 2013)

Esther A. Resech, 93, Medford, died on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where she had resided the past 6-1/2 years.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Kelly Taylor-Schaus officiating. Interment will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery in Medford.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Esther Resech was born on February 15, 1920 in Medford to the late Herman L. and Ella L. (Schmidt) Resech. She attended Medford area schools. She took care of her father and also helped care for family members in need.

She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was active in the Ladies Circle where she served as past secretary. She enjoyed reading, floral and vegetable gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Resech.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
