Paul, Lucille C. (Reiter) (7 FEB 1920 - 17 JUL 2013)

Lucille C. Paul, 93, Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, July 17 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 23 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Mark Jensen officiating. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Cornerstone Funeral and Cremation Services of Beaver Dam assisted the family with arrangements.

The former Lucille Reiter was born on February 7, 1920 in Little Black to the late Louis L. and Erna (Carstensen) Reiter.

On October 29, 1938 in Dorchester, she married Harold Paul, who preceded her in death. She co-owned Armstrong and Paul Distributorship and Restaurant in Horicon throughout the 1940s, and later she and her husband owned Jo-Lee Drive-In in Beaver Dam from 1956 to the early 1960s.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and Sunset Hills Country Club. She enjoyed fishing in her earlier years, golfing, cooking, reading, and being with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, Lee (Judith) Paul of Germantown and JoAnn Burchardt of Beaver Dam; a sister-in-law, Arlene Reiter of Wisconsin Rapids; four grandchildren, Kari Jo (Scott) Eberle, Brad (Jill) Burchardt, Jennifer (Damon) Gross and Lauren (Eddie) Hernandez; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, her twin, Louis (Geraldine) Reiter, Wilbert (Dorothy) Reiter and Arthur Reiter; a sister, Clarice (Paul) Neubauer; a son-in-law, Gerald Burchardt; a brother-in-law, Lloyd (Harriet) Paul; and a sister-in-law, Mildred (Jack) Armstrong.
