SAM PETERSEN
SUCCUMBS TO LINGERING ILLNESS
Sam Peterson, 68 Withee, died Sunday at the
Veteran’s Hospital at ft. Snelling, Minn.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev.
Beryl Knudsen will officiate and burial will be made in the Riverside Cemetery
at Withee. Military rites will be conducted by the Van Heizen-Fritz Legion Post.
Mr. Peterson was born in 1896 at Withee, and had farmed in Clark County his
entire life. He was never married.
