PLAN SERVICES FRIDAY FOR ED KRAHN, RESIDENT

Ervin Krahn, 69, Owen, died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He had been in ill health for several weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 1:20 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. LeRoy A. Urman will officiate, and burial will be made in St. Matthew’s cemetery at Marathon.

The body is reposing at the Hoeper and Kraut funeral Home.

Ervin Krahn, was born June 25, 1895, in Marathon City. He was employed in Milwaukee until his marriage to Alice Peissig, October 23, 1943. After their marriage, the couple came to Owen, where he was employed until 1960, when he retired.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Dr. Erwin Krahn, Dearborn, Mich., and Allen Krahn, St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Davis, Milwaukee, and Susan at home.
