Mr. Gustav Bahn, who represents the Henry Lake Sons Nursery Co. of Eau Claire, was in this vicinity a few days last week.

Mr. and Mrs. G.S. Thomas of Pasadena, Calif., who have been visiting here, left Monday noon.

Geo. Hintz went to Greenwood on the train one day last week.

The Hank, Altenbern and Dammeier families attended church at the German Settlement on Sunday.

Frank Kokolj is hauling lumber from the mill.

Mrs. Henry Altenbern of Lena, Ill. is her visiting her son, Aaron and her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Dammeier.

Mr. Burkhardt of Fairchild was here repairing telephones one day last week.

Mr. Wm. Dammeier assisted Mr. Kokolj in hauling lumber Monday. Martin Kokolj is building a house.

Did you think that you must go far south to see rice birds? If son, just call on Mr. Al Daughenbaugh south of town. He has quite a large (?) field of it.

Joseph Jajorvic, who has been working for Mr. Francis, left for Sheboygan on Monday.
