The town board met at Wm. Benedict’s Tuesday to transact town business.

Forest Rowe sawed wood for Ernest Grabe, Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe went to Rice Lake Friday for a visit at the Mary Redmond home.

Abie Turner is doing some carpenter work for Mr. Bardell.

Asa Pease is working for Forest Rowe.

Some of the neighbors helped to move Hans Olson’s household goods to Neillsville Monday.

Miss Vivian Brooks closed school in district #2 Tuesday for a two week’s vacation.

The ladies aid at Mrs. J. VandeBerg’s last week Wednesday was quite well attended.

The scholars in district #2 sprung a pleasant surprise on Ruth VandeBerg Monday evening, the occasion being her 13th birthday.  Refreshments were served; hope all had a good time.

J. VandeBerg sawed wood for A. Turner Friday.

Dan Timerson is somewhat under the weather.
