Funeral services for Tony Will 72, of Colby, who died Feb. 25, were held Monday morning at 10:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby.  The Rev. John B. Pinion officiated at the mass of requiem after which interment was made in St. Mary’s parish cemetery.

Mr. Will was an invalid for the past five years and death came at his home at 11:35 a.m. Thursday.

On Sunday evening at 8 o’clock a rosary service was held at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, by the Catholic Order of Foresters of which Mr. Will was a member, and a general rosary service was held at 8:30 p.m.

The pallbearers were Bernard Tennis and Frank Jordan of Unity, Emil Untiedt and Harry Untiedt of Curtiss, and Fred Zassenhaus and Joseph Arends of Colby.

Tony Will was born in the town of Colby Sept. 17, 1892, and lived on the farm with his parents, William and Anna Will.  As a young man he made cheese in various factories in the vicinity and at Holcombe.  On June 14, 1919, he and Evelyn Brown were united in marriage at Cornell.  He continued to work as a cheese-maker and also at construction work until 1932 when the couple bought a farm in the town of Colby where they lived until 1957 when they retired and moved to Colby.

He is survived by his wife.  Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters; Joe Will of Potosi, Wis., Henry Will, Libertyville, Ill., Frank Will of rural Colby, Mrs. Willard (Mary) Pierce of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Donald MrsCasy, Colby, and Mrs. Dan (Nettie) Casey of Colby.

One child died in infancy and a brother, William Will, preceded him in death.

Olson of Spooner, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Pagenkopf, Bloomer, Mr. and Mrs. Justus Depke, Durand, Jack Jardine of Verona, Mrs. Andrew Will, Mellen, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Will, Potosi, John Will, Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Schmidt, Kiel, Mrs. Earl Bergman, Brillion, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Will and Mr. and Mrs. John Rineck of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pasholk, Merrill.
