Darling, Osmond T. (8 June 1905 - 9 January 1970)

Ormond T. Darling, 64, formerly of Merrillan and recently a resident of Clallam Bay, Wash., died suddenly January 9 in a Port Angeles, Wash., hospital he was born June 8, 1905 in Merrillan to Harry and Mayme (Bartlett) Darling.

Mr. Darling taught school in Barron and Park Falls before moving to Washington where he was principal at Neah Bay and Moses Lake, Wash., schools for 19 years and at Clallam Bay the last four years.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and two sons, Armond of Moses Lake and Frank of Selah, Wash.; eight grandchildren, and a cousin, Mrs. Vivian Kearney of Merrillan.

Funeral services were held January 12, in Clallam Bay from the Presbyterian Church. Graveside services were held January 13 in the Moses Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Darling was a great-great-grandson of James O’Neill the founder of Neillsville.
