The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at a nuptial ceremony Saturday, May 22, at 1 p.m. when marriage vows were repeated by Miss Sandra Ann Shober, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Shober, Loyal, and John Henry Schwellenbach of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rogstad of Loyal.

Scene of the ceremony was St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, with Mr. Shober giving his daughter in marriage.  Mixed floral bouquets adorned the altar for the wedding for which St. Anthony’s choir, under the direction of Sister Vera Marie, sang.

The bride selected for her wedding a dress featuring an empire waist of Viennese lace.  The bodice, which had a scoop neckline, was attached to an A-line skirt of chiffon over taffeta with a detachable train.

Her veil of French illusion was secured to a bonnet of Viennese lace and her flowers were three long stemmed red roses.

Bridal aides were Mrs. Marvin G. Treutel, Marshfield, the matron of honor, and Miss Toni Shober, Loyal, and Miss Sherrie Neises, Auburndale, the bridesmaids.  They were dressed frocks featuring bodices with empire waistlines and scoop necklines in aqua crepe and white straight skirts.  Each carried a single long stemmed red rose.  Candy Shober of Loyal was the junior bride.

Marvin G. Treutel, Marshfield, was the best man, Bill Hold, River Falls and Terry Rogstad, West De Pere, the groomsmen; and David Shober and Steve Rogstad, Loyal, the ushers.  The reception was from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the bride’s parental home with the supper at 4:30 p.m. at the Parish Hall.  There was a dance Saturday evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom at Neillsville.

The bride a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School graduated 2 years later from the Accredited School of Beauty Culture, Eau Claire.  She has been employed at Grace’s Beauty Shop, Loyal.  Her husband who is employed in Racine where he and his bride will reside, graduated in 1959 from Neillsville High School and later attended Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire.
