She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in Racine in 1945 and then earned her three-year nursing degree at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison before completing her BSN at the UW Madison. There she met and later married Charles Senn in 1953, who preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by her six sons: Charles married to Marla (Thorp, Gregory, married to Barbara (Portales, NM), Gerard married to Stephanie (Wheaton, IL), Roderic (Eau Claire), James, and his significant other Joy (Manistee, MI), and Michael, married to Julie (Fremont). Jeanette is also survived by her six grandchildren: Elia, Jennifer, Jacob, Alexander, Phillip and Felicia Senn. She leaves behind her sister, Louise, with her husband Bill Walthers; and her sisters-in-law: Marilyn, Ruth and Helen Senn; plus numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Don Meuret officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery following the service. There will be gathering of family and friends after interment at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church.
