Mrs. Schilling had a corsage of white carnations and gold pompoms and her husband wore a boutonniere of a carnation with a gold pompom bud.  Each of the Schilling children also wore corsages or boutonnieres for the occasion.

A floral centerpiece, adorned with a gold 50, was placed at the head table for the supper along with a large decorated wedding cake.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schilling were the parents of Joe, who was born in Calumet county near Sherwood.  They moved to the town of Frankfort to farm.

Mrs. Schilling was born in the town of Frankfort to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sellung, where she grew to womanhood.

The couple were married at St. Mary’s church, Colby, by the late Father Artman.  Their assistants were Mrs. John Sazama, Colby, and Lambert Schommer, Marshfield.  Mrs. Sazama and Mr. Schommer were both able to be present for the anniversary celebration Saturday.
