Buss, Betty Diane (Marriage - 11 October 1969)
Miss Betty Diane Buss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Buss of Rt. 1 Withee,
and Calvin Vernon Baehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baehr, also of Rt. 1 Withee,
exchanged wedding vows October 11 at 1 p.m. at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in Thorp. The
Rev. William Matzek officiated at the single ring ceremony before 150 guests.
The bride, was given in marriage by her father, Miss Debbie Maier of Thorp
was maid-of-honor. Joe Soborowicz of Thorp was bestman. Mike Rabska and Jerry
Buss of Rockford, Ill., served as ushers.
White bells and green and white
streamer s decorated the Quonset Hall, where 150 guests gathered for the wedding
reception.
The groom, a 1968 Thorp High School graduate, is employed in
Chicago, Ill.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Baehr are residing at 3228 Ernst St.,
Franklin Park, Ill.
