A
fiftieth year class reunion, the graduating class of 1914, was held at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin on Saturday evening, May 30. Co-hostess for the
evening was Mrs. Anna Catlin.
The 1914 graduating class consisted of 15
students, up to that time was the largest class. Eight of the graduates were
present at the reunion; four were unable ti attend, and three are deceased.
Letters were read from Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blanchard, Seattle, Washington; and
Mrs. Esther Ashby of Co;orado Springs explaining why they were not able to be
there. Mr. Lynn Lundgren, Nebraska; and Mrs. Walter Goehring of Colorado
Springs, Coloradowere also not present. Mrs. Anna Catlin was presented a gift of
money that evening at the alumni dinner, by her children.
The evening was
spent visiting and looking at pictures. A desert and coffee was served by the
hostesses.
Guests who were present included the following: Mr. and Mrs.
John Young, Florida; Mr. and Mrs.Frank Christenson, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Taylor, Sun City, California; Mrs. Lottie Henninger, Loyal; Edna Bashford of
Milwaukee who had just returned from a six weeks vacation in Europe; Mrs. Mae
Gustafson, Monroe; Pearl Kreiser, Wausau; and Melford Catlin of Milwaukee.
