Kuehl, Fern (Marriage - 20 September 1969)

Fern Kuehl of Eau Claire and Edward Harycki of Thorp were united in marriage September 20 at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in Thorp. The Rev. Chilicki performed the double-ring ceremony before more than 300 guests. Two pink and white bouquets of gladioli were at the altar.

The bride wore a three-piece blue knit suit, with a pink rose corsage.

Eda Mae Kuehl served her mother as maid of honor. She wore a wool dress of blue and brown and a blue carnation corsage.

The groom’s son, Francis Harycki, was best man.

Edward Harycki of Baltimore, Md., grandson of the groom, was ringbearer. Flowergirl was Jane Jablonic of St. Cloud, Minn., granddaughter of the groom. Ushers were Sylvester Harycki and Theodore Kuehl.

A reception was held at the Ed Harycki home from 3 to 5 p.m. a dinner for relatives was served at 6 p.m. at a Thorp restaurant. A dance was held later at the American Legion Hall.

Mrs. Harycki has been employed in Eau Claire. Mr Harycki is chief of police in Thorp. After a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin they are at home at 108 N. Thorp Street in Thorp.
