St. Agnes Catholic Church, New York City, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Patricia M. Gumz, Athens, to Gilbert LeDu of New York City, on Oct. 3, 1964.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, Harold Gumz, appeared in a silk peau de soie street length wedding dress. The bodice had a beaded rose on it. It also had three-quarter length sleeves. The bride wore white silk shoes and matching gloves and her veil was bouffant with a pearl trimmed rose. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses with lily of the valley flowers.

The maid of honor, Miss Anne Forgione of New York City, wore a street length dress of Kelly green crepe. Her veil was bouffant with a Kelly green bow. She also wore matching Kelly green shoes and gloves. Miss Forgione carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

The best man was J.P. Camus of New York City, a friend of the groom.

The wedding ceremony was followed by a reception at the Summit Hotel in the Summit Suite, where cake, champagne and hors d'oeuvres were served. Later, the bridal couple had dinner at Ida De France Restaurant in New York City.

Guests were from Athens, Milwaukee, and New York City area.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert LeDu will be taking a honeymoon trip in early April to Wisconsin, Canada and Niagara Falls.

The newlyweds are makeing their home at 77010 34th Ave., Jackson Heights, N.Y.

The bride and groom are both employed at the Summit Hotel in New York City.
