Anderson, Adele Kay (Marriage - 2 August 1969)

Miss Adele Kay Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson of Rt. 1 Granton, and Garry Arthur Thiede, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Thiede of Tomahawk, exchanged wedding vows Saturday at a 6:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony at the Zion Lutheran Church at Granton, with the Rev. Roland Roehrs officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her father before 200 guests. She wore a floor-length gown of pearled scalloped Chantilace. A scalloped redingote skirt flowed from the waistline and swept into a chapel train. Her silk illusion veil was held in place by a crown of pearls. She carried a cascade of white roses entwined with ivy.

Miss Elaine Anderson of Granton was maid-of-honor. Mrs. Victor Elmhorst of Granton and Miss Marilyn Thiede of Tomahawk served as bridesmaids. They wore floor-length gowns, each of a different pastel color, with matching headpieces. Each attendant carried a bouquet of colonial styled white gladioli.

Larry Thiede of Goosebay, Labrador, was bestman. Kenny Thiede and Alan Thiede of Milwaukee were groomsmen. Jim Thiede and Norman Lange, Jr. served as ushers.

Billy Garbisch provided organ music and Mary Anderson was soloist.

A reception and supper were held in the church parlors, with 200 guests.

After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, they will reside in Fort Bragg, N. C.

Mrs. Thiede is a 1966 graduate of Granton High School and has been employed as a secretary at the WCCN radio station. Mr. Thiede graduated from Granton High School in 1965 and attended Wisconsin State University-Oshkosh and was affiliated with the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity.
