“Valley Farm” the high school play will be given Friday evening, June 1st in Simons Hall.

Mrs. John Wampole came from Eau Claire Tuesday to visit until Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fradenberg.

W.H. Kubat, buttermaker for the Farmers’ Co-operative Creamery company here, has purchased a creamery located within a short distance of his home, north of Neillsville, and expect to take possession the first of June. Mr. Kubat will have his brother, Ed, as a partner in the business and they will make butter at pound rates for the patrons. Mr. Kubat has been with the creamery here since it started and his work has given the best of satisfaction. He is a maker of first class butter and the patrons of his factory can be assured of the top of the market always. A large number of friends here, while sorry to hear of his intention to leave the village, wish for him abundant success in the venture.

Dr. Cole, of Fairchild, was here Wednesday to see Mrs. Gregory.

Mrs. John Bryner has gone to Monticello, Green County, to spend a month with relatives.

Mrs. Carter has been quite ill this week and Dr. Cole of the Falls, has been here a number of times attending her. Harry Carter has been spending the week at home from Eau Claire.
