Humbird (15 May 1969)

Mrs. Emma Gerber and Mrs. Edwin Scholtze of the Happy Hour Homemakers and Mrs. Alice Gansel of the Garden Valley Homemaker club were among those who enjoyed a trip to Minneapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Baily of Rockford, Ill., called Thursday at the Will Hein home and Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Duane Olson and three children of Eau Claire were callers there.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael McKivett and family of Merrillan spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hart.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher were guests Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Phillip Carroll, and her husband in Madison. Mrs. Emma Gerber who accompanied them was a guest of Mrs. Fred Gerber.

Mrs. Laura Dignin spent Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gil Blom, in Price.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Adler and children of Eau Claire and Mrs. Jane Schickert and family of Wausau were dinner guests Sunday of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler.

Word has been received by Mrs. Georgia Randalls of Alma Center that Ray Nolop of Phoenix, Ariz., had suffered a severe stroke and was in very critical condition. He will be remembered by many of the older folks in this vicinity for he operated a general store in Alma Center several years ago.
