Stowe, Anna (10 MAR 1884 – 03 MAY 1965)

Mrs. Earl (Anna) Stowe, age 81, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.  She had been a patient there since Sunday morning.  Old age complications were the cause of death.  Services will be conducted at the Myre Funeral Home and burial in the Loyal Cemetery.  Rev. Paul Doering will conduct the services.  The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home from Wednesday morning until time of services.

Mrs. Earl Stowe was born March 10, 1884, in the tow of Loyal.  The former Anna Litka married Earl Stowe, March 18, 1914, at Loyal.  She received her education in the town of Beaver grade school and German Lutheran School in the town of Loyal.

Mrs. Stowe lived in Montana the first year of her marriage; the last 50 years were spent on the present farm in the town of Beaver.  They celebrated their Golden Wedding in March of 1964.

Her husband survives her as does one daughter, (Ora) Mrs. Gerhardt Scheel, of Loyal, one son Howard, of Loyal, one grandchild and one great-grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Andrew (Amelia) Lydiksen, of Riplinger.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
