Poirier Reber, Julia (19 AUG 1915 – 20 MAR 1965)

A former resident of Loyal, Mrs. Julia Reber Poirier, 49, died of a heart attack at her home in Ojai, California at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20.

Funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25 at 2 p.m. with Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer officiating.  Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

The former Julia Klug, as a young girl, moved to Loyal with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Klug.  Eight years after her marriage to Walter Reber at Loyal in 1934, they moved to Neillsville.  After her second marriage in 1948 to Ezra Poirier, lived on a farm south of Neillsville until 1960 when they moved to California.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Darol (Margaret) Lewis, Mrs. James (Carol) Chadwick, Neillsville; Mrs. Curtiss (Nancy) Gest, Milwaukee; one son, Richard Reber, Tomah; and one adopted son, Darol Poirier of Ojai, California.

She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Surviving brothers are Merlin, Cambria; Gerald, Ringle; Willmer, Milwaukee and Elmer of Milwaukee.

Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
