Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Lichte, 82, of Owen, and formerly of Neillsville were held Monday from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. She was a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church here.

Her parents operated the Globe store. She worked as clerk in the former Zimmerman and Dangers stores in Neillsville for many years, and also as a sales clerk in Waukesha. On August 31, 1934, she was married in Marshfield to Albert Lichte, who died in 1952. They lived in Waukesha for a few years and came to Neillsville in 1948.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Frantz of Neillsville; and a brother, George Rupprecht of Neillsville.
