Alma Voightlander (5 Dec 1901 - 27 Feb 1961)

Funeral services for Miss Alma Voigtlander, 59, were held from Peace Evangelical and Reformed church here today (Thursday, 2 Mar 1961). The Rev. Fred W. Kollath, pastor, officiated at the 2 p. m. rites.

Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, with Ruesch Funeral Service, Medford, in charge. Pallbearers were Charles Sturz, Gilbert Burtard, Eino Walkama, Joe Ackerman, Wilmer Paul, and Alan Hawks.

Miss Voigtlander, who had been in ill health 20 years, died in the Medford hospital Monday. She had been a patient in General Hospital at Madison seven weeks last fall following an operation. On Feb. 11 she entered the Medford hospital, where death came at 1:30 a. m. Feb. 27.

Miss Voigtlander was born Dec. 5, 1901 in the town of Hoard, where she attended schools. She was Sunday school superintendent for Bethel church there 10 years. She was a resident of Medford at the time of her death, moving to that city in 1953.

Surviving are two brothers, Elmer Voigtlander, Medford, and Henry Voigtlander, Abbotsford, and two sisters, Miss Lillian Voigtlander of Medford, and Mrs. William George (Louise E. Voigtlander) Awe, Mr. William Henry and Mrs. Katie Marie Voigtlander Rau.
