Hill, Mary Jane (Feb 1964)

Marriage vows were exchanged between Miss Mary Jane Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen F. Hill, route 3, Marshfield and Lee R. Bauman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ D. Bauman, route 1, Loyal Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church at Spencer.

The Rev. Andrew H. Bofenkamp officiated and the church choir sang the Mass.

The bride entered the church wearing a gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over satin. It was fashioned with a fitted bodice, jewled Sabrina neckline and a full skirt ending in a bustle train. She wore a fingertip length veil of silk-illusion which was held by a leaf-clip hat. The bride’s bouquey consisted of red roses with white feathered chrysanthemums and white ribbons.

Miss Bonnie Hill, Marshfield, the matron of honor and Miss Doreen Fenske, Chili nd Miss Wendy Bauman, Loyal, the bridesmaid, donned street length dresses of red taffeta for the occasion. They were styled with scoop necklines and fitted bodices above flat front full modified bell skirts desidned with unpressed pleats. Matching double rose headpieces with circular veils and bouquets of white carnations tied with red ribbons and greens completed their outfits.

Kenneth hill, Marshfield was best man, and Fred Fleet, Chicago, Illinois, and Glen Wucherpfennig, Loyal were groomsmen. Jim and John Miller of Green Bay were the ushers.

A luncheon, reception and dance took place at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield.

The bride is a 1963 graduate of Marshfield High School and has been employed at the Marshfield Clinic. Her husband, a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School is employed at Kohler by the Kohler Co.
