Woldt, Frank Donald (20 Nov. 1933 – 14 Sept. 2001)

PHILLIPS - Frank Donald Woldt, 67, Phillips, died in the Flambeau Medical Center in Park Falls on Friday, September 14, 2001. He was born in the Town of Eau Plaine, Wisconsin, on November 20, 1933, the son of Ludwig and Laura Woldt.

He was a 1951 graduate of the Marshfield High School. He was married to Kay Schwarze in Marshfield on June 3, 1953. He managed the Gambles Stores in Marshfield and Park Falls. In 1969 he moved to Phillips where he owned and operated Woldt Furniture. He later served as an agent for American Family Insurance in Park Falls and then as purchasing agent for I.A.P. Company in Phillips until the time of his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Phillips, the Lions Club, a past member of the F. and A.M., a member of the Phillips Chaparrals, the Price County Trails Association, and of the Phillips and Park Falls Chambers of Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; by four children, Beth (Pete) Hahn, Deb (Thomas) Rait, Phillips, Barbara, and Scott (Laurie), all of Phillips; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam; a brother, Louis; and a sister, Delores Strey.

Memorial services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Phillips on today at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Lodholz officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Phillips.

The Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips is in charge of the arrangements.
