Kropp, Clara (30 May 1907 – 3 Feb. 1978)

ATHENS – Services were at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Mrs. Clara Kropp, 70, of Route 1, Athens (town of Bern), who died at 1:20 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she was admitted Feb. 1. She had been ill since last June.

The Rev. Ralph J. Geissler officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Kropp, the former Clara Felzkowski, was born May 30, 1907 in the town of Johnson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Felzkowski.

She was married at St. Anthony’s Church May 8, 1929 to Frederick Kropp who died March 13, 1971.

She lived at the town of Bern address the past 36 years.

Surviving are a son, LeRoy Kropp, Route 1, Athens, four daughters, Mrs. Chester (Mary) Dvorak of Route 1, Athens, Mrs. Victor (Delores) Pilsner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Horacek, Route 2, Athens, and Miss Johanna Kropp, Athens; two brothers, Edward and Alois Felzkowski, both of Route 2, Athens; six sisters, Mrs. Vincent Writz of Marathon, Mrs. Ray Fellbaum of Route 1, Hamburg, Mrs. Harry Murkowski of Route 3, Athens, Mrs. George Pecher of Route 1, Dorchester, Mrs. Ervin Jacobi, Route 1, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Henry Rinehart, Loyal; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
