SPENCER LOCALS

Francis Stoltenow came home Wednesday.

Otto Andre has purchased the Gilbert farm.

B. J. Landaal was a Marshfield caller Tuesday.

Henry Mason came over from Athens Thursday.

Walter Potts came down from St.Paul to spend Sunday.

H. R. Crowell has been granted a pension of $6 per month.

Chas. Stoltenow's dog was killed by the train Sunday night.

Rev. Biggar went to Lindsey Wednesday to spend a few days.

Miss Alvena Luepke, of Waupun, is visiting her brother, Charles Drew.

Through an error in last weeks items it read Mary Wood instead of Mary Moon.

Irene Heath went to Withee Saturday for a short visit with Miss Anna Douphner.

George Smith was the guest last Wednesday of his sister-in-law, Mrs. S. S. Damon.

Will Genett came home Monday.  He has been working with the surfacing crew near Marshfield.

Miss Verna Richardson entertained a crowd of young ladies at her home Wednesday evening.

Jesse Bradley is visiting his parents here. Jesse thinks the smallpox treated him pretty roughly.

Mrs. Kenyon, who was the guest of Mrs. John Gardiner, returned

Sunday to her home at Stevens Point.

Ringquist Brothers gave a graphaphone and stereoptican entertainment in Farrington's hall Monday evening.

Mrs. M, W. Blankinship and little son of Chicago, arrived Wednesday and will spend a month with her mother Mrs. G. W. Wendell.

Allen Johnston, who has been very ill, was moved Sunday to the residence of J. W. Gardiner where he will receive proper care.

Mrs. E. Heath sprained her hand very severely Sunday. Mrs. S. S. Damon also had the misfortune to fall Sunday and received a badly sprained ankle.

F. M. Graves, R. N. Malay and Misses Ada Blaisdell and Irene Heath attended the concert given by the Canadian Jubilee Singers at Loyal Tuesday evening.

A load of our young people attended the social Friday evening at Frank Pickett's new house, five miles northwest of town. They report a most excellent time.

R. N. Malay and F. M. Graves will give a social dancing party in Radloff's hall Friday nigh:. Good music will be provided and a good time is promised. Come one and all.

The Epworth League is making preparations for an entertainment Friday evening, May Kith, to be held in Farrington's hall. There will be an ice cream social after the entertainment. Everyone is cordially invited.
