Weister, Edna A. (Marriage – 22 Nov. 1933)

A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of the officiating clergyman, Rev. A. C. Stapel, in Spencer, at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, Nov.22, 1933, when Miss Edna A. Weister, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Weister, R. 3, Marshfield was united in marriage to Daniel N. Kobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kobs, Spencer, R. 3.

The bride wore a seal brown chiffon velvet dress with turban to match. She was attended by her sister Lucille, who wore a blue silk dress with hat to match.

The groom was attended by brother, Willard Kobs.

At 5:00 o'clock at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fisher, east Doege St., Marshfield, a reception and wedding dinner was given, attended by the immediate families of both parties.

A free wedding dance was given the in the evening at the Club hall in Marshfield.

The newly-weds are now at the home to their many friends on a farm of the groom's parents, just south of their home in the town of Spencer.
