SPENCER

Wayne Owen and wife moved into the Plamer home Saturday.

Chas. Davel of Loyal, called on his brother John here Saturday.

Mrs. E. C. Ulter returned home Monday from her visit with her mother at Trempeleau.

Mrs. A. Harzman went to St. Paul Monday to purchase Christmas goods for the Fair store.

Miss Maud Welch came up from Kaukauna Saturday evening to spend Sunday with her parents.

Mrs. Elmer Nelson of Chippewa Falls came Monday to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Schwantes.

Mr. and Mrs. Aleck Ahlgren of Chippewa Falls came Friday to attend the funeral of Albert Griepentrog.

Mrs. Will Gantvoort and son went to their home at Chili Monday after visiting her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Wm. Fenhouse.

G. Kolata of Milladore, who had been at Grand Rapids attending a meeting of the Wood county board, spent Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. A. Soles.

E. Johnson, who has made an extended visit with relatives in New York, came home last week, accompanied by his son, Forest, who spent a few days here and then returned to New York.

Rev. Irish, district superintendent of Eau Claire held the first quarterly conference of the year at the M. E. church, Saturday afternoon. Rev. Dix drove with him to Marshfield that evening.

Quite a delegation from Spencer and the Drews school district went to Marshfield Monday on business relative to forming a new district south of town. The matter was left in the hands of the state educational board.
