Eiberger, Vincent J. Sr. (24 Mar. 1919 - 29 Dec. 1992)

Vincent J. Eiberger Sr., 73, 1120 Alice St., Rothschild, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1992, at the V.A. Hospital in Tomah.

He was born March 24, 1919, in Peoria, Ill., the son of the late George and Elsie (Payne) Eiberger.

Vincent retired after 20 years of teaching music in the Appleton and Wausau areas. At one time he owned his own sanitation business, worked as an orderly, disc jockey, and reporter for a radio station in Tomah. He volunteered many hours at the health care center with his musical talents. He fished and actively hunted with his son until last year.

Survivors include his ex-wife and best friend, Ethelyn Eiberger, Rothschild; one son, Richard (Kathy) Eiberger, Freemont; four daughters, Necia Fischer, New London, Mary (Michael) Narlock, Schofield, Diane (Dave) Brinkman, Mosinee, and Genevieve (Maury) Dennee, Ringle; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his son, Vincent James Eiberger Jr., in December of 1988.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1993, at Hayden Funeral Home, Schofield. The Rev. Sid Bouldin will officiate. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the funeral home.
