Siebarth, Albert (13 Sept. 1867 - 6 Feb. 1957)

SPENCER - A retired Marathon county farmer, Albert Siebarth, 89, died Wednesday night at his home in the town of Brighton, where he had resided for many years. He was born in Germany Sept. 13, 1867.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church here. The Rev. August Saremba will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery. Beginning this evening, the body will repose at the Swarthout Funeral Home and will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. on the day of the funeral.

Mr. Siebarth is survived by his wife, the former Ida Strey, whom he married Dec. 18, 1902; five children, Mrs. Albert (Minnie) Foss, Spencer; Mrs. Howard (Elvera) Smith, Clayton; Mrs. Elnora Miller, West Allis; Albert, Monroe, Mich.; and Mrs. Albert (Leona) Toltzman, Loyal; two stepchildren, Mrs. Andrew (Lena) Brown, Omaha, Neb.; and Mrs. Austin (Hattie) Hancock, Marshfield.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Conrad, Wausau, and Mrs. Mary Wetstein, Detroit, Mich., a brother, August, Brighton; 33 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
