SPENCER - Mrs. Alvina A. Seefeld, 86, Route 1, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she was admitted Monday.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer. The Rev. David J. Ault is to officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.

The former Alvina Henrickson was born March 4, 1895 in the town of Unity, Clark County, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seefeld. On June 1, 1915 in Riplinger, she and Fred Seefeld were married. They farmed on Route 1, Spencer. He died in 1951.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and the Up and Coming Homemakers Club.

Surviving are two children, Paul and Mrs. Eugene (Arlene) Marten, both Route 1, Spencer; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Schmidt of Colby.

Three sons, five brothers and one sister are deceased.
