Jolly, Edward (17 June 1819 - 7 Mar. 1867)

Born in Lancashire, England, June 17, 1819. Died March 7, 1867, of apoplexy. Came to America while yet a boy, and to Wausau in 1856, with his family. He was a good engineer and machinist and found employment with B. Single. Afterward rented a mill with G. L. Judson, which they ran some time. After that he engaged in various kinds of business; held several offices, which he faithfully filled. He was a good citizen. Left a wife and six children.
