Griepentrog, Frances A. (6 Mar. 1908 - 21 Dec. 1993)

SPENCER - Services for Frances A. Griepentrog, 85, Spencer, who died at 5:15 a.m. Dec. 21, 1993, at the Marshfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.

The Rev. William Ruhbusch will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeff, Greg, DuWayne and Dean Griepentrog, Mike and Jerry Anderson and Bob and Dave Willner.

Visitation will be at Community Funeral Home, Spencer, after 4 p.m. today.

She was born March 6, 1908, in the town of Brighton, Marathon County, to the late Frank and Clara (Naatz) Neumann. She attended Brighton School and North Spencer Parochial School. She was married to Darel F. Griepentrog June 7, 1928, at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer, and he died Aug. 5, 1989.

She did housework at various homes in Spencer and Eagle River. She was also employed at Dairy Belt Cheese and Butter Co., now Land O'Lakes. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an honorary member of the Ladies' Aid.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Reinhold (Bernadine) Willner of Janesville and Mrs. Willard (Eunice) Anderson of Marshfield; two sons, Norbert and Wilmer, both of Spencer; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Cramer of Spencer and Mrs. Erna Beier of Milwaukee; 23 grand-children; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also predeceased by one brother and one sister.
