Alvina H. Paul, 87, 608 Mead St., died Friday at Dove Health Care.

She was born June 20, 1913 in Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of Emil and Anna (Grams) Glenz. She moved to Fall Creek in 1924 and later to Eau Claire and attended Eau Claire Senior High School. Years later she attended the vocational school and received her GED. Alvina worked at Uniroyal for 30 years retiring in 1960. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She caught a 50 pound muskie and had it mounted.

Survivors include her daughter, Luann Woodford, Eau Claire; a brother, Emil Glenz, Alger, Mich.; and two sisters, Hilda Glenz and Wilma Hermanson, both of Eau Claire. She was preceded in death by her parents,; two brothers, Arthur Glenz and Arnold Glenz; and a sister, Emma Glenz.

Funeral Services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Eau Claire with Pastor Ned Lenhart officiating. Interment is at Rest Haven Gardens, Town of Washington. Friends and relatives may call Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of services. Stokes and Mundt Funeral Chapel of Eau Claire is serving the family.
