----Chwala, Jeffrey B. (10 Mar. 1978 – 9 Oct. 1999)

EAU CLAIRE — Jeffrey B. Chwala, 21, of 429 Platt St., Eau Claire, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999 at Luther Hospital from injuries he received in an industrial accident that occurred on Oct. 6.

Jeff moved to the Boyd area with his family in 1981. He attended Stanley-Boyd schools. He then moved to Eau Claire and was an employee at American Coating Technology Co.

Jeff loved hunting, working on his car, music and snowmobiling. Jeff’s ready smile and “I’m one step ahead of you Dad” gleam will leave a big vacancy in our hearts. Although he leaves Dad and little sister Corrine behind, we are consoled in the knowledge that Jeff and Mom are together in the hands of our Lord.

Survivors include his father, Dale Chwala of Boyd; sister, Corrine Chwala of Boyd; maternal grandmother, Clara Keller of Milwaukee; paternal grandfather, Ted Chwala of Stanley; and paternal grandmother, Armella Chwala of Cadott.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret, in 1991 and maternal grandfather, Gilbert Keller.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley, with the Rev. Matt Miklasz officiating and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Boyd. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley.

*** Note: His date of birth is from the Social Security Death Index.
