Margaret Ann Gruber became the bride of Charles Hills on Saturday, December 28
at a ten o’clock Nuptial Mass at St. John de Napomuc Catholic Church, Milwaukee,
with Father Wamser officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Gruber, Milwaukee and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hills Sr., Loyal.
A dinner was held for the immediate family at the brides home, following the
ceremony, reception was held in the afternoon at norbie Bakers Hall on North
Hamption on Hopkins.
Nancy and Carol, both sisters of the bride were her attendants. The brides gown
was white floor length, with a chapel train.
She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations, interspersed with gold
ornaments.
The attendants were attired in Royal blue satin brocade dresses and carried
white fur muffs with white and yellow roses on them.
The best man was John Wm, Hills and the groomsman was David Lee Hills, both
brothers of the groom. Bill Hammond a childhood friend was the usher.
The brides mother attended the wedding in a white sheath dress.
Mr. and Mrs. Hills will make their home at 9036 West Hampton, Milwaukee, after
having spent the past week at Mr. Hills parents home in Loyal.
The couple are both high school graduates and are employees at Briggs and
Stratten of Milwaukee.
