Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday, December 28, by Miss Margaret Ann
Rottjer, Phoenix, Arizona, daughter of Mrs. Emma Rottjer, Loyal, and Jack Lee
Allen, Phoenix, Arizona, in a ceremony at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Loyal, with the Rev. Moldenhauer officiating.
Mrs. Jean Voss at the organ accompanied vocalists Donald and Nathan Noeldner,
all cousins of the bride.
Miss Rottjers wedding dress was designed of white Peau-de-sole, floor length
with train trimmed with lace. Her ballerina length veil was caught in a pillbox
hat and she carried red roses with feather mums.
Bridal attendant, Maid of honor, Miss Barbara Rottjer, sister of the bride, wore
a red velveteen floor length dress and had a hand bouquet of red and white
carnations with white ribbons
John Rottjer of Milwaukee, brother of the bride was the groom’s best man. Bob
Dux and Larry Noeldner, cousins of the bride, served as ushers.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony at the brides mother’s home.
The bride is a 1956 graduate of Loyal High School and is in 1960 graduated with
a B.S. degree from Eau Claire State College. She was a member of Gamma Sigma
Sigma. She has been teaching in Glendale, Arizona for the past few years.
The groom attended Indiana University and is a salesman in Santa Anna,
California.
Their honeymoon will take them to Santa Anna, California, where they will make
their home.
