A little girl of Harvey Dow that has been sick for several months died last Sunday afternoon.  Several physicians had been called in attendance, but all their skill could not help to save the child.  The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon.  Mrs. Jenks, a sister of Mrs. Dow and her husband came Monday afternoon.  Mr. Dow himself is not well for sometime, making it so much harder to bear.  The sympathy of the whole community is with the saddened family.

Messrs Frank and Harry Oens left Monday afternoon to attend the funeral of a daughter of Geo. Oens, in Richland County.

Mr. Sample, the new cashier took charge of the bank Wednesday.

Anton Ebben came from Appleton to have the deed and other papers made out for the sale of his and his brother’s farm.  John has not been very well all winter, since he left.

P.J. Kemmeter was here Monday looking over his bolt business.

Mr. Oens, who has been indisposed for some time, is able to be up and around again.

Clark Waterman who was sick part of last week reported for duty this week.
