Berger, Augusta (16 July 1866 - 4 October 1968)

Funeral services were held October 7, in Watertown for Mrs. Augusta Berger, 102, mother of Arthur Berger of Neillsville and Watertown’s eldest resident, who died October 4. Services were conducted from St. Mark’s Church. Burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery there.

Death was due to complications after Mrs. Berger suffered a broken hip September 12.

She is survived by two daughters, Esther and Martha Berger, both of Watertown; three sons, Arthur of Neillsville, Walter of Lewiston, Id., and Paul of Pullman, Wash. Other survivors include three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
