Bluedorn, Verla A. (Miller) (17 MAR 1922 - 11 JAN 2013)

Verla A. Bluedorn, 90, Rib Lake, died on Friday, Jan. 11 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake.

No services will be held. Interment of her cremated remains will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH:
March 17, 1922 at Abbotsford, WI

EDUCATION:
Abbotsford elementary schools and was a graduate of Abbotsford High School; Attended Eau Claire Vocational School and Eau Claire Teachers College

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:
July 24, 1943 at Columbus, Ohio to William Richard Bluedorn who preceded her in death in 1985

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:
While residing in Eau Claire she worked as a housewife & mother while also selling Avon products. She resided in Milwaukee and worked at First Wisconsin Bank in the data entry department until her retirement. She moved to Arkansas in retirement and did volunteer work. In 1998 she moved to Wausau and in 2010 to Medford. She enjoyed bird watching, knitting, sewing, crocheting and reading. She also served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts for a period of time.
