Wachholz, Hilton John “Bud” (1 August 1919 - 8 March 2013) With Flag

Hilton John “Bud” Wachholz, 93, a resident of Oakleaf Village, Columbus, OH, died Friday, March 8, 2013.

He was born Aug. 1, 1919, in Westfield to the late Leonard and Julia Wachholz. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp serving in WWII.

He is survived by Alma, his loving wife of 67 years; daughters, Karen (Dennis) Gallien and Janet (John) Belcher; grandchildren, Bryan (Jeanna), Brad and Brandon Gallien and Katie and Denise Belcher; sisters, Elaine Wachholz an Violet (Bill) Neuhaus; nephews, Bill and Jim Simek, Mike and Rick Wachholz; and numerous friends.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Simek, and a brother Glen Wachholz.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. March 15, at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH. Interment will follow in Kingwood Memorial Park.
