Columbia (8 Jul 1915)

Mrs. Wright’s daughter-in-law was here for a short visit last week.

Miss Mable Schlender is spending the week at Neillsville.

Miss Emma Moser is home from Humbird.

A new cement walk and porch is going to be built at the schoolhouse. Art Ehlert is hauling some stone to be used in the work.

Chas. Christofferson received word Thursday of the death of a sister-in-law in Iowa.

Mrs. Adam Rice passed away Saturday morning at 8:30. She was taken sick Friday morning about 10 o’clock. The burial took place Monday at 2 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory were among those who celebrated at Neillsville Monday.

The blueberries are ripe, but there seem to be more berries than pickers.

Aug. Resong was a Neillsville caller Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Iverson entertained friends Sunday.

Mrs. R.E. Lawrence and son, Hugh, spent Sunday at Neillsville.
