Kunshier, Royale A. (26 September 1915 - 30 August 1968)

Funeral services were held Monday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Royale A. Kunshier, 52, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, who died here Friday evening after suffering an apparent heart attack at the new Kingdom Hall. Jerome Berger of Jehovah’s Witness officiated. Burial was made in the Dells Dam Cemetery.

Mr. Kunshier was born September 26, 1915, in Anoka, Minn., and attended school there. He worked for the conservation department in Minnesota until he entered military service in 1948. He served overseas in Germany, receiving his discharge in 1951. He was married November 10, 1951, to Dorothy Weisgerber in Darmstadt, Germany. On his return he worked for General Mills in Curtis, O. The family came to Clark County in 1961, settling on a farm in the town of Levis.

Mr. Kunshier is survived by his wife; 10 children; Mrs. Phillip (Sheila) Mhyrovold of North Bend, Ore., Mrs. Robert (Deanna) Boysen of Neillsville, Loyal Kunshier of Gen Dora, Cal., Loring Kunshier of San Diego, Cal. (Navy), Manfred, Ernest, Bruno, Doris, Loren and Marion, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Marie Kali Rose of St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Betty Loose of St. Paul, Minn.; three brothers, Harold, Clifford and Clyde, all of St. Paul, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church.

Pallbearers were: Jerry Koranda, Walter Brown, Carl Noah, Marian Kluckhohn, Robert Sebesta and William H. Mayer.

Cammers of Greenwood; Jim Boysen of Winona, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller, Mollie Ryll and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Robertson of Withee; Mrs. Soen Jensen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. John Haslow, Sr., of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Molle and Judy Molle of Atwood; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brandt and daughters of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Rogers of Spencer; Mrs. Gladys Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gilmore of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wojner and Mr. and Mrs. James C. Anderson of Stanley.
