Louis Pipkorn Passes Away

Louis H. Pipkorn, 72, Spencer route 1, died Saturday, April 10, at 1:45 in the afternoon at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since April 2.

Mr. Pipkorn had been a resident in the Unity area for 45 years.

A heart ailment for which he had been hospitalized intermittently for the past six months caused his death.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Loyal Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Lee H. Holmes officiated at the services and burial was made in the Town of Beaver cemetery.

Mr. Pipkorn was born March 24, 1876 in the Town of Freemont and was married in the Town of Unity.

Surviving besides his wife, Bertha, are four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Hattie) Kroll, Marshfield; Mrs. Rudolph (Adeline) Thiel, Loyal; Mrs. Emil (Doris) Haavisto, Owen; and Miss Velda Pipkorn at home, and seven sons, Oscar, Fred, Otto, Leo, Adolph, and Louis at home, and Bernard, Waupaca.

One sister, Mrs. Henry Schwartzsager, Oshkosh, also survives. He had [unreadable] grandchildren.
