Gust Margelouski Passes Away

Funeral services were conducted here Tuesday afternoon for Gust Margelouski, 73, who passed away in his sleep Saturday morning at the home of a neice [sic] in Weyauwega, where he had been living for the past two years.

The body was at the Swarthout Funeral home were rites were conducted at 12:45 p. m. Tuesday and at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1:00 p. m. with the Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating. Burial took place in Hillside cemetery, Marshfield.

Pallbearers were Charles Neuman, Frank Neuman, Charles Andre, Otto Andre, Ernest Rust and Herman Bruss.

Flower girls were Lorena, Bernice and Rose Ertl and Marcella Sersch.

Mr. Margelouski was born in Germany on March 26, 1874 and came to the United States at the age of 13. He was engaged in farming in this community until about 34 years ago when he moved into the village and worked as a carpenter. He left here two years ago to live with his neice [sic] in Weyauwega.

He is survived by a neice [sic], Mrs. Ed Ertl, and a sister in law, Mrs. Louisa Margelouski. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Mr. Margelouski was unmarried.
