(Additional Note from Eldon's son Christopher M. Ziegler)

Hi Dolores

I am Eldon Ziegler’s son. I just saw your web site for Clark County History and found my father’s information. His date of birth was November 23, 1939. Born in Neillsville, Wisconsin. He moved to Marion, Wisconsin at age 16 when his parents (Arthur and Marion) decided to give up farming and started a supper club. They owned Zig’s Supper Club in Marion (may have literally been in Clintonville) for many years. Zig's was a popular dining spot and watering hole for decades.

He and my mother, Mitzi Mattes, met in Marion.

I noticed your web site was missing his date of birth. I gave you a lot more information but in any event, if you'd like to add the date of birth, now you have it.

Thanks!

Christopher M. Ziegler
