Rowe, Effie (26 MAY 1915)

On Wednesday evening, May 26th, the marriage of Vincent Burrows and Miss Effie Rowe was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents on Court Street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Burrows, father of the groom. The groom was attended by Ralph Rowe and the bride by Miss Fay Dodsworth of Fairchild. The wedding was a quiet home one and was witnessed only by relatives and intimate friends of the contracting parties. The groom is a son of Rev. and Mrs. Burrows of La Farge, is a graduate of the Neillsville high school and of the dairy course of the state university. He is altogether a very capable and enterprising young man, thoroughly trustworthy and reliable and is at present employed by the Neillsville Dairy Co. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Rowe and one of Neillsville’s most capable young ladies. She is a graduate of the high school here and since graduation has taught school in this vicinity with great success. She has been a prominent worker in church circles and is in every way especially fitted for the position she assumes. The best wishes of the young people are extended to them by all their friends.
